The Nobles of Note are 15 musicians that came together in 1984 to play the classic "Big Band" Music of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, and are dedicated to preserve the Big Band sound. Since that time, they have specialized in music for ballroom dancing and have added a repertoire of swing, foxtrot, waltz, and Latin tunes.
They have a classic appreciation for this distinctive style of music, and the traditional dress of the musicians, and the physical arrangement of the bandstand.
The Nobles charge for their appearances, but the musicians are not paid. The players gladly donate their talent and time to benefit needy organizations and charities. To date they have donated over $300,000.
